Arrive Haridwar
Pickup, hotel check-in, evening Ganga Aarti
Arrive at Haridwar railway station or Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun). Our driver picks you up and transfers to your hotel. Rest and freshen up. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for the famous Ganga Aarti — a mesmerizing spiritual experience that sets the tone for your yatra. Overnight in Haridwar.
Haridwar → Barkot
210 km scenic drive (7-8 hours)
After breakfast, begin your journey to Barkot — the base for Yamunotri. The route passes through Mussoorie bypass with beautiful hill views. Reach Barkot by evening, check into hotel. Rest well for tomorrow’s Yamunotri trek.
Yamunotri Darshan
100 km drive, Vishwanath Temple
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti (40 km). Begin 6 km trek to Yamunotri temple (ponies/palkis available). Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and the natural hot water springs. Trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot.
Barkot → Uttarkashi
6 km trek, temple visit, hot springs
Drive to Uttarkashi along the beautiful Bhagirathi river. Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Uttarkashi is the base for Gangotri. Rest for tomorrow’s trip.
Gangotri Darshan
220 km drive via Tehri Dam
Long scenic drive to Guptkashi — the base for Kedarnath. Route passes through Tehri Dam. Reach by evening. Rest well for the challenging Kedarnath trek tomorrow.
Uttarkashi → Guptkashi

Kedarnath Trek
16 km trek or helicopter, temple darshan
Wake up early for morning darshan at Kedarnath temple. Trek back to Gaurikund (16 km). Drive to Guptkashi. Rest and recover from the trek.
Kedarnath → Guptkashi
Morning darshan, trek back
Drive to Gaurikund. Begin 16 km trek to Kedarnath (or take helicopter from Guptkashi). Reach by afternoon. Attend evening aarti at the ancient Jyotirlinga temple — one of the holiest Shiva shrines. Overnight at Kedarnath.
Guptkashi → Badrinath
200 km via Chopta viewpoint
Drive to Badrinath — the final and most important dham. Route passes through beautiful Chopta meadows and Joshimath. Reach by evening. Attend aarti if time permits.
Badrinath Darshan
Temple, Mana village, drive to Rudraprayag
Early morning darshan at Badrinath temple — dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Visit Mana village (last Indian village before Tibet), Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. After lunch, drive to Rudraprayag (160 km).
Rudraprayag → Haridwar
165 km, trip ends
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar. Reach by afternoon. Drop at railway station or Jolly Grant Airport. Your Char Dham Yatra concludes with blessings from all four sacred dhams. Har Har Mahadev.
